Grant amount: One grant of up to $40,000 (excluding GST)
Funding period: 12 months
Focus area: Mental health, resilience, and general wellbeing among general practitioners and practice teams.
Objectives: This grant aims to support research with potential to improve mental health, resilience, and general wellbeing among general practitioners and practice teams. Projects may focus on strategies, interventions, and solutions to prevent excessive stress and burnout, improve work-life balance and job satisfaction, and/or enhance workplace culture and psychological safety in general practices. The research should be translational with potential to drive tangible outcomes for the general practice profession.
To be eligible for the GP Wellbeing Grant, the principal investigator must be a general practitioner or general practice registrar.
We encourage applicants at all stages of their research career to apply, and particularly invite more experienced researchers to consider including early career researchers within their teams to continue to build general practice research capacity.
